How do I set up the addressing in the controller and CXproᴴᴰ site for BACnet IP communication?

1. Open NBPro by clicking on its icon in the application section of the Home ribbon in CXProHD.


2. Navigate to Setting / Network Configuration and set up the software to look at the BACnet router using a remote connection (e.g., 192.168.1.251). Ensure you click the Remote IP radio button, and have the Register? box ticked.

 

3. Run a discovery (manually, if it doesn't start automatically) by looking under Discovery and selecting Locate Devices.

 

4. Locate the CBXi in the list, change its instance number to the desired instance number, and MSTP address to a desired address. Rediscover the device after each change. Note: You will only be able to change this information is all the dip switches on the device are off.
