What is the difference between an app reset and a Busch-Watchdog PRO KNX hardware reset? How do I perform these resets?

A reset via the app only removes the Bluetooth connection between your smart device and the Busch-Watchdog. A factory reset, however, erases all programmed information and restores the device to its original factory settings.

• A Bluetooth reset is performed directly through the app.
• A factory reset can only be executed on the device using the selector switch.

Factory Reset (Master Reset) via Selector Switch

1. Disconnect the device from power for 10 seconds.
2. Reconnect the power. A master reset can be initiated within the next 5 minutes.
3. Set the selector switch to "Reset."
   1. The red LED will flash slowly for 5 seconds (1 Hz).
   2. The red LED will then flash rapidly for 30 seconds (5 Hz).
4. Turn the selector switch out of the "Reset" position within these 30 seconds. The reset process will then be completed.
