How does a room temperature controller (RTC) work together with a Split Unit via the split unit gateway SUG/U 1.1?

A Split Unit has its own temperature sensor and controller, so temperature control is done by the device itself. Via KNX RTC we can change the set point or fan speed and more, displaying current status is also possible. So it acts like a slave to achieve convenient operation and consistent design.
