Connection of alarm transmission devices (comXline) to the GM/A: How are dialing sequences defined and to what do they refer?
It is fundamentally important that there is no connection between the numbering of the addresses/zones and the numbering of the dialing sequences. The dialing sequences are set in the alarm transmission device – and they are independent of the security company’s details in relation to the various connection technologies (ex. IP, GSM, etc). The addresses/zones are programmed in the GM/A. The allocation of the addresses/zones to the events (intrusion, personal attack, etc.) is also set by the security companies. The connection between the GM/A and the alarm transmission device (comXline) takes place using the ATS bus.
