How does cyclical monitoring of KNX Zones take place through the GM/A?

The Panel expects the monitored KNX device to send a telegram within the set time (parameter: Period for cyclic monitoring (KNX zone inputs)). Cyclical monitoring begins 2 minutes after a restart of the Panel. Within the monitoring time, the KNX device must have sent a telegram cyclically on the bus to the Panel. If this does not happen, a “no answer” error message is entered in the event log and the device is actively scanned by the Panel one more time. If there is no response within 10 seconds, this device will be set to “triggered”. In order to reset the device, it must actively send a zero again. The KNX devices are not scanned in normal operation. This happens only once, if they do not answer.
